RJTC HONORED BY LEAGUE FOR INNOVATION

The League for Innovation in the Community College has recognized the Central Wyoming College Rural Justice Training Center (RJTC) in its Innovation of the Year competition.

The League is an international organization dedicated to catalyzing the community college movement.

This year, the League is honoring Jeff Hosking, and Eric Heiser, CWC staff members who operate and develop programming for the RJTC. “The innovation represents capstone achievements and the continuing renewal of the spirit of innovation and experimentation upon which the League was founded,” the League website said of the honor.

The RJTC provides educational and training opportunities to meet the needs of rural law enforcement agencies from around the region. More than 700 participants, including degree-seeking students, first responders and fire fighters, have received training at the RJTC this past year.
